Geography

Chellanam is a picturesque rural region located in the south-western part of Ernakulam district, lying parallel to the Arabian Sea and surrounded by backwaters and Pokkali paddy fields.

According to the latest delimitation (ward reorganization), Chellanam Grama Panchayat is divided into 22 wards.
